I'm Mary-Catherine, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, here to help you navigate health and nutrition, wherever you are in life! Based in the Fort Campbell, KY / Clarksville, TN area, I am a military spouse who understands the unique challenges of this lifestyle - from inconsistent schedules to constant deployments and field trainings.
Health and wellness are a right to all, not a privilege. It is my duty to help you develop a healthy relationship with food and physical activity so that you can live your best life.
I work with clients who can invest at least THREE months of their time. Why? Research shows that it takes 66 days for a new behavior to become automatic. I want to be there to support you through any obstacle you may face.
Central to my mission is to meet my clients where they’re at. This means that:
YOU are the center of your nutrition plan! All of our sessions are individualized -- tailored to you, your lifestyle, family dynamics, schedule, medical history and nutritional status.
While I am based in the Fort Campbell/Clarksville area, all appointments can be done virtually so that you can connect from anywhere, whether you are working, lounging at home, traveling, or sitting by the pool, beach, or other relaxing seascape.
We will work together to create goals that are realistic for you AND come up with healthy rewards (did someone say massage?!)
A Little Bit More About Me…
I’m a dietitian by trade and knew nutrition to be my calling since middle school (I know – a long time ago!).
This career path was an easy choice for me. I went from being bullied for my weight to nearly losing my life from starvation and over-exercising. I have now found that balance and want to help you develop a healthy relationship with food as well!
Earned my B.S. in Nutritional Sciences at Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!)
Through the Coordinated Dietetics Program, I completed my degree while also completing over 1200 hours of required supervised practice to become a dietitian!
Took the national exam to earn my credential as a Registered Dietitian (the “RD” behind my name)
Earned my Masters in Public Health at Boston University School of Public Health while working full-time in obesity and diabetes clinical research
Certificate of Training in Integrative and Functional Nutrition
